Breathing and postural exercises are
designed according to the Doshas. Doshas are place
specific in our body so different-different exercises work for
different-different Doshas and their level in the body. The
exercise one is performing in daily routine squeezes or relaxes a
particular part and organ of the body, from where whole body show
effects of that particular exercise. No doubt these exercises are
good for all but there is a specification in these ones, so it is
clear these are meant for different individuals to control
different traits. If you are a Vaatik personality and you are
doing exercises which are hard with your body i.e. exertion is
more than it is a common thing that you will get harassed easily
and over all aging process will be on a higher speed. What a
Vaata fellow needs is soothing exercise which can help him to
restore his calmness. As due to his bio-constitution he has
tendencies to expand the energies uselessly, so through yoga
exercises he should restore this energy. Same exercises can be a
boon for the Kapha individual. Even Pranayaam is also divided into
different types. Some of these where help inner energies to expand
by increasing-Pitta on the same place others increase the coolness
trait- the Kapha!! So when a Pitta fellow is increasing Pitta......soon
he is going to face.......... Hyperacidity, disorders related with
your liver and Blood Pressure on a higher side. It seems easy
to say that ok i will choose my part according to my Prakruti, but
it is not so easy!! As need is to make Doshas harmonize not to
press one and increase one, as this will lead to the bitter
experiences due to the imbalance of the Doshas in the body!!!! So
before starting these easy looking exercises you should PAUSE for
a while to decide what you need for this just
know your Prakruti and rest we
will do for you.
Before starting, with these yogic exercises one thing is of
importance i.e. “Cleansing of the body”. For this special foods and medicines are told there in different texts.
to use for a month or so before going to practice the yogic exercises.
The food which we intake during these yogic exercises is also important.
So that the Dosha you are pacifying by yogic exercises will
remain in a harmony. For this your “
Prakruti ” means
a lot. Not only this, but also the seasonal changes and effects
should be counted carefully. These changes play an important

Yoga is a complete science so behave to it as a science…not like a miraculous pattern of breathing and exercises. There is logic to tell too many postures and breathing exercises. So that one can choose what is better for someone. So don't be careless about this. It shouldn't be the story that you are performing some thing for good health and it is leading you to the diseases!! So before starting with Yoga
