Indication-
Bakul is of curative value in poisoning, vitiligo, infection& dental problems.
In mobile teeth Bakul bark should be chewed or its decoction should be retained in mouth& gargled for some time; it will make them immobile& strong.
Modern researches have shown Bakul to be having anti –ulcer activity. The mechanism of anti-ulcer activity can be attributed to decrease in gastric acid secretory activity along with strengthening of mucosal defensive mechanisms. So for chronic smokers it is good to have this and chew for half an hour daily
