Dalchini (Cinnamomum zeylanicum)
Shunthi (Zingiber officinale)
Amaltas (Cassia fistula)
Maricha (Piper nigrum)
Pippali (Piper longum)
Amalaki (Embelica officinalis)
Haritaki (Terminalia chebula)
Vibhitaki (Terminalia bellerica)

Dalchini - Dalchini is known to increase salivation and to improve digestive functions. In this way it increases the metabolic rate of a person.
Shunthi - Shunthi is said to possess Bhedana Character i.e. ability to liquefy the hard deposited waste in the body including excessive fatty tissue. This liquefied fat is readily avaiable to be get metabolized.
Amaltas - It possess slight laxative character as a result liquified fat that is escaped from metabolism is excreted out of the body.
Maricha - It is has got Sukshma Guna i.e. ability to invade deep seated minute nutritive channels. So the fat deposited in deep seated channels and that is producing blockages in them is also not left behind
Triphala (Amalaki, Vibhitaki, Haritaki) is well known rejuvenator for metabolism.

How to prepare: Boil 100 ml of water. Switch off the stove. Add 2 spoons full (appox. 10g) of herbal mixture to water. Cover the utensil. Leave it as it is for 5 minutes. Or
Take 2 spoons full (appox. 10g) of herbal mixture. Boil it with 150ml of water for 5-10 minutes with the utensil covered.
Filter it. Tea is ready. Enjoy it sip by sip. Add some sugar or lemon juice according to your taste, if you find it necessary.

Take it in morning & before going to bed.
